Sri D.Krishnamurthy is also the Managing Partner of M/s. Rithanyaa Textiles and M/s. Hi-Life Tape (P) Ltd. and he is the Director of M/s G.V.D Textiles (P) Ltd. He is also a Director of several other Textile Mills and Finance Companies in and around Coimbatore. He is one of the members in the Research advisory board of The South India Textile Research Association (SITRA).

Sri Kumaran Mills established the quality management system in accordance with ISO 9002:94 for the "Manufacture and Sale of Cotton and Yarn" since 1999. Now the quality management system is revised in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 with effect from 01.12.2002 for the Manufacture and Sales of Cotton and Blended Yarn (exclusion clause 7.3 design and development)
